This place is truly amazing. It's one of the best mini golf courses I have ever seen. It's very clean and very well maintained. The staff is super friendly and professional. They have two courses, both of which are truly unique. I would highly recommend playing both courses. They really do a great job of maintaining this place. It's definitely worth stopping by and checking this place out. They, without a doubt, have something special here.

We had so much fun. Two 18 hole courses mean you’re never crowded. And each hole’s design is inventive and creative. It’s also a place with a long history. Well worth taking the family here or visiting with friends.

Par King is by far the best mini-golf course in Illinois. In fact, the next most charming mini-golf would be found all the way in Wisconsin Dells. Each hole has a very well designed theme, with some of them moving to intermittently block the shot, and others with ramps or tracks that potentially guide your ball into a hole-in-one. There are two courses - red and black - and each have their challenging holes. Both wrap up with a fun roulette hole where golfers can potentially win a free game landing on “0” or get as high of a score as 7. There is a small concessions stand with candies and cotton candy, a soda machine, and a couple of air hockey tables in the back. Keep in mind that the facility is CASH ONLY, and golfers must be 48” or taller. They don’t bend on either rule. Also let it be known that the asphalt walks get very hot in the sun, and a sunny 80° can feel like 90°+. I highly recommend you bring a bottle of water with you on the course. The place gets very busy on the weekends as well, so be prepared to wait during peak hours.

First time playing here and we loved it! The course is unique with a lot of functional moving obstacles and fun ball travels. We played the black course, but want to return to play the red course. The Roller Coaster is awesome! The grounds are well kept and their method of getting folks through the queue/course at a busy time was easy and efficient. A gem of a mini-golf course and a blast from the past! Bravo!

Loved it here! Will definitely be back again and again! So much fun, the different holes all had totally different themes and challenges. And they do only accept cash ($12.50 per person) so for my husband and I, $25 for an hour and a half on a beautiful day was completely worth it! We only waited about 10 minutes from the moment we paid till we could get started. Cant wait to come back!!

Such a fun place to take the family they have 2 different courses with 18 holes even with the place being crowded it wasn't a long wait in between holes. Very family friendly everyone is super nice.

We wound up playing mini golf here purely by chance, as we just happened to stay in the hotel across the street for one night. The kids didn’t have swimsuits for the hotel pool, so we were looking for something to do. I kind of dread mini golf outings with my kids because I always think it sounds fun, but then find it to be kind of boring. This place however feels like the mini golf you always dream of and imagine, but never actually experience. The course is super well maintained, well lit, clean, and just fun! Every single hole is unique and exciting with different moving parts and challenges, water, roller coasters, elevators, lions and tigers and bears…oh my. The manager greeted us at the gates, explained how it all worked, and then the rest of the staff guided us into our tee time after about a ten minute wait or so. There are two 18 hole courses, one with groups of two or three, and one reserved for groups of four. It’s so well thought out because this way, the groups ahead of and behind you play at a similar pace, which keeps it enjoyable for everyone. Now, I feel like they get cheated in their google review score of 4.4 stars. When I read that score, I was concerned it would be another boring mini golf course that’s overpriced and under delivers. But I filtered to the bad reviews, and never one mentioned the experience of the course itself, but rather a disagreement with their VERY WELL POSTED POLICIES of not allowing small children or groups larger than 4 to play together. Personally, those rules are what made it so fun for our group of my 41 year old self, and my four children aged 9-15. We broke into two groups of two and three, playing right next to each other, and had a blast. This is actually a professionally run mini golf place, that’s willing to upset a small percentage of people to ensure the happiness of the other 99%. Long review short, it was great. Go there, and have fun(unless your kid is 47” tall)!
