Ascot Park has a wonderful mini golf course! It was only $8 a person for a whole 18 hole course. The Wild West themed course is dated and is falling into a bit of disrepair but it is a true testament to the fact that not everything has to be the newest, biggest and shiniest to be the best. In my opinion it solidifies the course as a hidden gem in Kingston, helps tie together the ghost town feel of the course and shows just how much love the course has received from its many visitors over the decades. Absolutely lovely course.
The driving range is a nice setup. There are a few different sections, one area for chipping and sand traps, a putting green and a large expanse for driving. It's well maintained and the prices are fair. There are other activities too like mini golf but I didn't explore those areas.
I had the time of my life. This is definitely one of the best mini golf courses around. You'll love the wild west theme and the railroad theme. I had a blast. The same place owns a beautiful 9 hole golf course there and it's inexpensive and open to the public. I really love this place. Well taken care of and classy.Bring the whole family.
*My review is based solely on the mini golf park there. Last year when I visited, the course was well-maintained and all of the water features were working. My last visit this past weekend, all of the ponds and streams within the course were completely stagnant and nasty. This brought about several annoying bugs flying around and who knows what else could have been lurking in or near the pond. This is too bad because the course is very reasonable to play and is a lot of fun. The scorecard is a bit hilarious and you should actually read it. Those who have been here before will understand what I mean when I say, "If you aren't golfing with your significant other, it could get weird."
Fun, but in need of a lot of clean up (lots of debris on the greens of each hole on mini golf) and in need of repairs too.
Midwest visitor, went over to hit balls/practice. What a great facility and welcoming staff. If possible will head back tomorrow to practice up! Thank You!
Our favorite mini golf in the area we've also been going there for Father's Day for almost 20 years it's clean people are friendly and can't say enough about it
