All reviewsIt's a good looking course with cool themes. It was probably a really good course at one time, but the y have removed all of the putting greens and have just painted the concrete green. This is a less than ideal putting service as even with the small tennis balls they recommend you use the ball do not stop rolling. It was so bad that my family stopped keeping score less than halfway through.
They ruined the course and made it completely unplayable. They tore up all the turf and now its just green concrete. To compensate for the lack of friction from playing golf on concrete, they replaced all the real golf balls with fuzzy cotton balls. The end result is a surface with no friction, balls that don't bounce off walls, and a terrible playing experience.
Place has great potential. However, it has been poorly maintained, and it shows at every hole. We were ready to stop playing a hole three but continued on through the course, trying to make the best of it. Unfortunately, it didn't get any better. From older reviews, it looks like two years ago, this place was in dispare (per the owners). Hard to believe they’ve made any changes.
Reviewing for the Putt Putt course: Currently a really poor playing experience, I know years ago the felt was in bad shape, then they replaced it and the course was very enjoyable and I was excited to come back. Unfortunately as shown in other reviews the felt apparently did not get maintained and they decided to take it all off and just use little tennis balls on green concrete. This means the ball just rolls basically forever unless the part of the course you are on is totally flat, the ball bounces over walls easily, and the playing experience is quite poor. Id love to see it get back into good shape but as of right now I would not recommend anyone go here for the putt putt.
Reviewing the Hoosier Pie Hole (I didn't putt putt, but it looks fun)! Food was great, place was clean, and folks were friendly. Took a minute to figure out it's self serve with drinks and ordering, but overall a great experience. Prices were good and service was fast. Great to get out of the house and check out something local!
We played a round of golf. $8.00 for kids and seniors and $10.00 for adults. It is a very difficult course. I feel the price is too high for the condition of the course. They have done alot of work and what they have done is nice, but alot of the green is in poor condition. The restaurant wasnt open yet. Ellettsville will have no lack of pizza.
This mini golf course is so much fun...and clearly was designed by a crazy person as some of the holes are so difficult. My son and i had a blast and cant wait to play again.
What an absolute garbage course. Here are just two pictures that were not even close to how bad it actually was. I went to this course about 10 yrs ago and it has clearly not been touched for 10 years. Several holes were quite literally not even playable because of the conditions. Every hole seemed to progressively get worse and worse: pipes broken where the ball couldn’t fit, balls getting stuck in houses, pipes etc. Come on, guys! Put a few hundred dollars into this course and make it playable!
