All reviewsIt's a solid place, but as a parent, i would appreciate simplified pricing for the batting cage tokens. They have a sliding scale dependent on the number of tokens purchased. It goes from $2.50/token down to $1.50 if you spend $100 upfront. Perhaps they could consider a weekly or monthly subscription, which would also encourage repeat visits and not make me feel like I'm being gamed. I still recommend it. It's just not a kind system.
The mini golf course is a bit run down. It's $8/game. But we felt rushed because there was a bunch of kids that was all up in our business. Was a bit annoying but it's not any fault of the facility. My son also used the batting cage. They DON'T PROVIDE HELMETS so you need to bring you own. There was a range of machines with varying pitching speeds which was nice. It token is $2.50 for 10 pitches.
Such a nice place. The mist hose is a nice touch during the summer! I always love to come here, and always end up doing the batting cage and mini golf.
One of the only auto pitch baseball cages around. Reasonable rates at $20 for 8 tokens (80 pitches) other prices available. Clean and comfortable . Restrooms available.
Outstanding place for a quick family time or practicing ur skills. But the latino guy behind the cashier tried to steal money from me. Be careful he will short ur change and argue.
Came here on 04/27/22 The only outdoor batting cage on Long Island that I know of Pros: Tons of options to choose from and speeds ranging from t-ball speeds to almost major leagues Almost outdoor theme park as it has mini golf and arcade games in addition to the cages During the holiday season they sell Christmas decorations The vibe is relaxed and chill especially on a nice warm day it’s therapeutic Snack bar is fair priced and available as well as the location to local food is great Free bat rental is awesome Cons : It is expensive! I have been here numerous times over the years and it has always been a treat but I remember $20 lasting a lot longer than it does today. For 2 people $20 lasted us about 30 minutes of actual hitting time combined I can’t even imagine what parents of little leaguers and softball league guys feel on their wallets
Awesome place to hit some balls. I worked down the block for years for Cable vision first then AMC. Broadcasting sports and sitting for hours this place was special. The owner is the nicest Man in the world, he knew I was a desk jockey and I think he enjoyed my progress through the warm weather. What a great spot to hit if you have any stress or frustration, stop down get in the cage blast some home runs and you'll be a better person. I hope this place is eventually recognized as a historical place and protected forever. If you live in this area please keep this place and family in business. I forgot to mention how the older guy would always hit the button releasing another token. I will be forever grateful and this place was not only a place of personal development but forever a key part of my life. Even the groundskeeper was so incredibly helpful and respectful keeping the place well maintained. Thank you Batter up. I hope you have the best season ever!!!
