All reviewsPirate Island Avalon is a fun miniature golf course for everyone. The course is very well-maintained and creative. Throughout the course, there are caves, waterfalls, drawbridges, animatronics, and other pirate themed props. The course makes great use of limited space with multiple levels. Each hole has its own unique flavor and the course is moderately challenging. Though it’s mostly outside, there are a few shaded areas and caves. I went in the middle of the day and it wasn’t crowded at all. The prices are a bit expensive, but I think it’s well worth-it. This is a great miniature golf course to play.
Bustling, sort of grody, but with a lot of heart and friendly supervisor/random person running it - it’s super easy to drop in and play for around 10 bucks. The course is tight and creatively loopy to make the most of sitting on just a small block of land. It’s really impressive how much mini golf is on so little square footage. You’ll find the greens a bit run down in spots but nothing unplayable. It’s advisable to avoid any of the water-prone areas as it’ll stop ball movement. Cup depth also varies slightly, so put gently.
Fun bi-level putting. Each hole ⛳ has a trick dip or banked elbow. Nice touch with the water falls and caves.
A fun spot to spend some time with your kids. The do provide tiny clubs for toddlers. There’s a wide range of regular clubs in different sizes to cover all ages. The golf course is not that difficult, but its surrounded by some fun props like caves, prisoners, waterfall, pirate ship and more. The course starts at lower level, and gradually moves upward toward second level where holes 11-18 are. The course takes about half to complete, which is really good for a mini golf course IMO.
Best mini gulf in Avalon! Disclaimer: I have never played mini golf anywhere else in Avalon. It’s such a beautiful walk down along the city shops on Dune drive. The staff was friendly and masked and social distancing signs were tastefully placed throughout the course. Whether you are a pro golfer or a shankopotomous, happen for 18 of the best mini holes you’ll ever golf.
Fun course for the kids, but quite expensive, anyone there has to pay to walk the course with the kids, so our family of 4 cost $63 despite the adults not wanting to play.
Fun! I loved all the caves and waterfalls. The greens and equipments were in great condition.
Very great place to take your kids to play some mini golf. Very friendly environment! Kim, one of the staff members here is absolutely fantastic! She was very polite, professional, and I can tell a very hard worker. She answered every and any questions my fiancé and I had, plus made sure we had everything we needed to make our mini golfing experience was the best it could be.
